Black lives matter. Period.
Making it clear on my social media where I stand, I wanted to create a list of Black Lives Matter resources on my blog. This is not a huge list by any means and a quick Google search is all it takes to educate yourself. I understand it’s overwhelming and a lot of it is “I don’t know where to start.” Well, I am here to say JUST START. As a white female I have messed up, I am guilty of racist microagressions and I will get it wrong again. How else will I learn? How else will you as a white person learn?
Of course, I am no expert on antiracism but I am committed to learning. In a quote from Austin Channing Brown during the Unlocking Us podcast, “I think you have capacity to be a better human, would you accept this invitation?” HIGHLY recommend listening to this podcast.
