First of all, a Denver Nude boudoir experience with me is 100% up to you. But hold up, don’t count the idea of stripping most or all the way down just yet. Moira Rose is right, “Take a thousand naked pictures of yourself now.”
You control your Denver nude boudoir experience, which means we can play it be ear and see how you are feeling in the moment. A big reason why you should not count it out before stepping into the studio. The Blue Flame studio is a safe space to tap into all your feelings, past + future self, your sexuality and vulnerability. Yes, I understand there is a element that makes this easier said than done. *big camera + a stranger* But capturing the moment you decide to leave your comfort zone and liberate yourself via professional images is *chef’s kiss.* It’s a moment that deserves to be documented. To look back on for years to come. As a reminder when you need it most or even just because. To inspire your friends. To lead by example. I can’t think of a more deserving moment.
So, to strip or not to strip? Going nude or not for your boudoir experience is not so black & white. A Denver nude boudoir session does’t have to be a commitment to your birthday suit. Remember, you are in full control here. Maybe your style is topless, which can free the nips or just be implied nude from the back or side. Going nude doesn’t mean showing all the goods either. Playing with light and shadows is also a classic way to capture curves without exposing anything.
There is ZERO pressure to ditch your outfits and go nude for your session. But I believe part of my job is to present you with all of your options and be there, if you wish, to give you the slightest push to do uncomfortable things. Things that I know are worth it 😉
Lesson from this blog; don’t say no to nude shots just yet. We go over your comfort level and vision around going nude (or not) during your session design call. Most of the humans I work with feel most comfortable playing it by ear during their session. Letting me know if/when they are ready in the moment. Everyone realizes they are a lot more comfortable than they thought they would be once we start shooting.
Then allow me to offer you some advice: Take a thousand, naked pictures of yourself now. You may currently think, “Oh, I’m too spooky.” Or, “Nobody wants to see these tiny boobies.” But, believe me, one day you will look at those photos with much kinder eyes and say, “Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!”
