There is no denying that the Denver small business<\/em> scene is amazing. So many passionate people putting in the work to make their dreams a reality. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It can really get ya in the feels when you realize just how important their business is to them. They are working so hard to share it with you and add value to your life. It should come to no surprise that I love connecting with other local, women owned businesses that are truly serving their community. “Awakening is an independent sex and wellness boutique. It was founded with the mission to create a safe, inclusive, fun, and community-driven space for people to learn about and explore their sexuality. All are welcome regardless of gender, sexuality, race, class, etc. Awakening is Denver\u2019s premiere independent and woman-owned sex-positive boutique. In addition to sexual health and pleasure products, Awakening also stocks handmade lingerie, art, select apparel, and home goods. Awakening hosts educational speakers and workshops, and is available for private parties and pop-ups.” -Awakening website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have been following me for a while, you have seen me work with Rose & Tory since pretty much day one. I remember our first meeting while they were preparing to open their first location in Modern Nomad<\/a><\/em> and hearing about all the long days + nights, blood, sweat and tears they put into their Denver small business baby! Watching them thrive in such a short time to another location on Broadway has been nothing short of epic. I am super honored to be a small part of their journey and have had so much fun getting to know them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last month they wanted to showcase their vintage lingerie collection and highlight some products with a “valley of the dolls” inspired shoot. Totally different from anything else I have done and Realm<\/em><\/a> studio was absolutely stunning. Rose did a fantastic job on everyones makeup, Claudia<\/em><\/a> & Lauren<\/em><\/a> were a joy to work with and the day could not have been better. A creative, safe space with a group of women just sets my soul on fire! Enjoy the magic we created and do yourself a favor and go visit one of two of Awakening’s locations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
