Getting ready....

Preparing for your session is a lot of fun but can also be stressful. I am here to help you through the process and to make the entire experience fun and enjoyable. If you haven’t already started a private Pinterest board to gather ideas now would be a great time to do so. No Pinterest? No worries, you can upload inspo to your portal. This will allow me to see more of your style and help you choose wardrobe options that best fit your style. Plus, we will have your pre-shoot consultation about 3-4 weeks before your session to cover all of this as well.

HYDRATE

Water is life!Make sure you drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session. It is also a good idea to not partake in alcohol beverages the night before your shoot.

REST

It is important to get a good nights rest the night before your shoot.

GROOM

If you plan on having any self care/grooming services done please do them at least 7 days before your session.

PREP

In the days leading up to your session avoid the sun if you can, stay away from those foods that your body doesn't agree with and stretch.

CLEAN

Please arrive to your session with clean and dry hair and skin. If you are prone to oily hair and skin then please wash them the morning of your shoot and arrive with dry hair.

ARRIVE

Please be sure to arrive at your session no earlier or later than your designated time. Wear loose fitting clothes to avoid lines in your skin while you get your hair/MKUP done.

Places to shop

Can I bring a friend along?

I completely understand how a boudoir shoot can be a very nervous experience. While I do not mind that you bring a friend along I do want to make sure that your session runs as smoothly and flawlessly as possible. It is also important to make sure you are completely comfortable in front of the friend you choose to bring. Please no more than ONE friend.

Will my photos be published online?

No photo is ever shared online or in print without your written consent. Image sharing is completely up to my clients and you are in no way obligated to share your images.

Will you retouch my photos?

While I do retouch all final images, it is important to understand the process in which I retouch. While I do remove temporary things like blemishes + brushes and do a bit of skin smoothing I do not do excessive editing such as body resizing or remove anything permanent to your body. If you do not wish to be edited/retouched please let me know during your consultation.

Should I spray tan?

NAHHHHH, spray tans rarely look good in photographs. Happy to chat more about this during your consultation.
