Whether you have done this before or it's your very first time, this Maternity Session Guide is a quick overview to help you prepare to make the most of your experience.

However, I will be there to be your ultimate guide. Whatever questions + concerns come up, just ask.

Alright Momma, let's do this...

Preparing for your session is a lot of fun but can also be stressful. I am here to help you through the process and to make the entire experience fun and enjoyable. If you haven’t already started a private Pinterest board to gather ideas now would be a great time to do so. No Pinterest? No worries, when you receive your questionnaire, there is space to upload inspo you wish to share. This will allow me to see more of your style and help you choose wardrobe options that best fit your style. Plus, we will have your Session Design Call before your session to cover all of this as well. Most of our prep will happen during that call, so this is kinda the prep for the prep.

Your session should be booked between 28-36 weeks.
Treat yourself to a mani + pedi, lather up with non-greasy lotion before your session and get good rest the day before.
Think about your comfort level around wardrobe & the final look that you want. Wardrobe planning is VERY important to the success of your session. Pick pieces that represent the style you want & also feel comfortable in.
Stay hydrated & snack to keep energy up during your session.
Wear very loose fitting clothing to the studio to avoid getting lines in your skin.
Make a day of it! Relax & enjoy this experience!

To keep in mind

what to expect //

Your session will take place in my private, natural light studio.
Since I 100% do not expect you to know what to do, you bet I will be coaching you through all the posing.
We will have a consultation before your session to plan & go over everything including wardrobe & styling.
You will view your images just 30 min after shooting & select your favorites.

It's ok to be nervous, please feel free to express any anxieties you have.
