Denver Ladies in Business consists of local women looking to expand their professional & personal networks, while growing their side hustles. The creator, Alex, is a content subscriber of mine and when I found out about her creating a space for women in business to gather and support one another I had to share!

“I’m Alex Rae and I work as a residential realtor in the Denver metro and surrounding areas. I specialize in assisting first time home buyers and project managing investment fix and flips. My clients are at the very heart of my business and their best interest is top priority at all times. There’s not only immense value tied to real estate, but also emotions and memories. Home buying and selling is a significant accomplishment in anyone’s life and should be treated as such. When I’m not working you can find me enjoying time with my family, exploring the Colorado outdoors, trying new places to dine around the city and running the Denver Ladies in Business networking group.”

How/why did you start the group? 

“The Denver Ladies in Business began as a small virtual networking group to help facilitate community and connection during the pandemic quarantine. As a business owner and active member of the Denver community, I have the pleasure of meeting so many inspiring women each day and wanted to create a way to connect them to one another. The goal was to help provide business referrals, peer support, share ideas, be social and just enjoy each other’s company.”

Who can really benefit (enjoy) from joining?

“The group consists of local women looking to expand their professional and personal networks. Small business owners, savvy professionals and ladies determined to grow their side hustles are among our members. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join us.”

What can members look forward to? 

Almost a year later, the Denver Ladies in Business has tripled in size to roughly 80 members and has hosted multiple in-person events. From working coffee sessions at trendy local shops to floral workshops held at evening venues and even hiking days, the group provides something fun for everyone!
