Colorado Intimate Portraits isn’t a cookie cutter experience. It’s tailed to you, your style and your comfort level. Lady R had a clear idea of what she wanted to portray in your session.

Before your Colorado Intimate Portrait session with me we have a session design call to go over the details & planning of your experience. Kicking that call off I ask for three descriptive words that are important to you for the vibe of your images. Lady R’s words were BOLD – PLAYFUL – POWERFUL, which I would say we absolutely nailed!

Once we have those key words, we make sure the outfits play into those vibes. The rest will come with poses, which I will guide you through of course. Then we go over hair + makeup, I like to use Pinterest for things like this to have visual board & help your vision come to life. An important part of your Colorado Intimate Portrait planning is going over your comfort level as well. Intimate portraits are just that, very intimate & it’s crucial we go over what your ok & not ok with. How sexy are we getting? Are there any triggers I need to know about? Are you ok with hands on posing/touching? Are you wanting any nude, semi/implied nude images? This is 100% up to you.

The design call is meant for both of us to get clear on your vision & be on the same page to make the most of your experience. For some this planning part is overwhelming & that’s why part of my job is to help you bring your ideas to life. To break down the planning & styling to remove a lot of the stress!
